The panhandle of Texas has finally been getting some much needed rain. On this day, rain had been falling and at sunset the storm was moving out, and a beautiful huge double rainbow formed over Caprock Canyons, along with this beautiful golden glow. This is facing west, into the setting sun which is hidden behind the clouds.
Melany Sarafis served her country for 24 years and recently retired from the USAF as a First Sergeant. She thinks it's really stupid when photographers refer to themselves in the 3rd person on their biographies. I needed to do something "low speed" after a successful but stressful military career.
