Description
"The Rhone River" by Mona Edulesco - miniature palette knife oil painting on canvas I 12x12cm I 2015. Original sold, prints available.
This modern impressionist miniature painting depicts a beautiful view over the Rhone river in Lyon, France, rendered in an abstract manner.
This is a palette knife painting. No brush was used to create the work. I only used different types of palette knives to apply thick oil color paint.

Mona, The Rhone River has been placed in the Special Features Section on the home page of the First Friday Gallery Group. - Not the actual Rhone River, but your brilliant palette knife painting. Congratulations on another superb creation!

Oops, I meant Mona! Had to visit again! The Sun is like a Flower and the trees like Eucalyptus petals next to a river of Stone and La Glace. I like it!

Beautiful painting, Mona! I love the use of perspective, color palate, textured movement and everything about this. My new favorite. l/f/p/feature

The expressive palette knife impasto creates a work that vibrates with presence and aliveness, Mona.
